Celeste >> founder

Celeste founded HairM in 2003 after working in marketing for over 11 years. With no salon industry background, she left her job as VP of Business Development for a marketing agency and opened one of the country's first male grooming shops. Celeste studied marketing and business at the University of Oregon and Portland State University, receiving her MBA in 2000.

Did you know...Celeste loves to travel. She lived in South Africa and has traveled near and far.

Did you know...Heather grew up in Minnesota with an identical twin and 2 other siblings. She graduated from the Aveda Institute and moved to Portland for our pleasant winters, relatively speaking. Heather and her husband John welcomed a baby girl to their life this year.

Sarah >> director of education | level 4 stylist

Did you know...Sarah has recently become a prestigious American Crew Educator. Her undeniable skill and professionalism will be used to educate stylists in the region, including HairM teammates. We are honored to have her head our education team.

Meredith>> front desk manager

Did you know...There's something in the water at HairM. Meredith and her husband Scott (Go Timbers!) are expecting a baby boy in August. Congratulations!

Gina >> level 4 stylist | shaving | grey camoflauge

Did you know...Gina is one of the first HairM team members. This old timer is known for her spunk, but not her height. Her son Quincy has passed her up and he's not even in high school yet!

Ratany >> level 4 stylist | waxing | straight razor shaves

Did you know...Ratany is another old timer who helps us keep Gina in line. Don't let her soft spoken demeanor fool you! Her son Romi keeps her on her toes and for the most part, out of trouble.

Jody >> level 4 stylist | hand massages | scalp treatments

Did you know...Jody is one of our co-eds, going to school on her days off. Besides spending time studying Jody also plays the guitar.

Artemesia>> level 2 stylist | scalp massages

Did you know...Artemesia (also known as Sia) grew up in Portland and Greece. Like any greek goddess, she enjoys sunbathing at the beach with a good book and good food and her 10 yo daughter.

Adrienne>> level 3 stylist | team trainer | scalp massages

Did you know...Adrienne comes from a family of hair stylists. We are happy she is keeping the family tradition alive. Adrienne and her fiance recently moved into a new home they had built. The HairM team is excited for the bouqet toss this fall.

Adriana>> level 3 stylist | nail detailing | body waxing

Did you know...Babies aren't the only thing happening at HairM. New houses too. Adriana is putting the finishing touches on her new home. Luckily gas prices are so economical for her long commute.

Jenny >> level 3 stylist | floor manager | nail detailing

Did you know...Jenny is our American Idol. She not only sings but she also plays the violin. She unwinds by coaching a kid's soccer team.

Bree >> level 2 stylist | face treatments | scalp massages

Did you know...Bree, a local Portlander, loves to sing (do we need to form a band?), watch movies and shop.

Abby >> level 2 stylist | nail detailing | scalp massages

Did you know...Abby is the HairM jock - she loves to play volleyball, racquetball, softball...even bowling. She shows off her creative side sewing, painting and make-up artistry.

Jante >> licensed massage therapist

Did you know...Jante's special talent is massage...a good thing for her massage clients! She has a great ability to know things with her hands.
