Meet Chelsea, a rare native Portlander. Her eclectic spirit and passion for knowledge help to drive her to learn new trades, skills, and arts. She adores classic business cuts but is also up for anything out of the ordinary, or uncommon. She says these types of cuts keep her on her toes and that she enjoys a good challenge! Her vast amount of continued education includes Label M, Kevin Murphy, Men’s Dept, Hattori Hanzo and American Crew Advanced training. When she isn’t polishing up her wonderful clients look, Chelsea enjoys wine tasting, tending to her cacti collection, exploring the vast portland vegan scene and traveling to the desert!
Tana
Level 8 Master Stylist + Floor Manager
Tana is our most senior team member, recently celebrating her 16th year anniversary with Hair M! Tana’s strongest skills are tailored men's cuts and scalp massages. She keeps informed of the latest hair trends and is an expert at the classics, nothing is too challenging for Tana. She brings an abundance of knowledge and advanced education and is happy to share. Most importantly, she loves the satisfaction of providing much needed relaxation for our busy clients. Tana is a food connoisseur who is also an amazing cook! She loves making something fantastic out of the most basic of foods. In her free time, you can catch her cooking and hanging out with family, or maybe enjoying her favorite, Spicy Thai food!
Danielle
Level 6 Master Stylist
Danielle grew up in Oregon but her heart resides in her other home in the Caribbean on the island St. Martin! She is an educator with Hair M as well as one of our master stylists. She specializes in razor cuts, tight fades and straight razor shaves. She loves to create a tailored cut to fit your needs and personal style. When she's not giving fabulous haircuts she likes to spend time in the great outdoors and playing with her puppy Pepper! You might even catch her scuba diving or trying her hand at gold panning! One thing for sure, you'll get a clean cut and a good story when you spend some time at Danielle's chair!
Giselle
Level 6 Master Stylist
Giselle hails locally from lovely Portland and has been part of the Hair M family for over 10 years. When she’s not out enjoying the diverse activities of the city of Roses, Giselle loves to spend her time with her family. They might head out downtown to indulge to indulge in Giselle’s favorite restaurants that have Hispanic or Filipino cuisine. Giselle has spent time in a number of education classes including the American crew and Men’s Department cutting classes. If you are looking for a fun textured cut then she is the gal to see with her razor and point cutting skills. Giselle also does sharp looking clipper cuts as well. You will feel completely at ease, secure in the knowledge of her skills and ability to give the best style for her clients.
Sothea
Level 3 Stylist
Sothea has been loving being a stylist for over 12 years. As the sister to one of our longest-termed team members, Tana, it is no surprise she has proven herself to be a great addition to our team.
Jocelyn
Licensed Massage Therapist
Jocelyn offers clients the perfect balance of therapeutic massage therapy and relaxation. Clients are often raving about having had the best massage of their life after leaving Jocelyn's care. You can find her at Hair M Beaverton on Tuesday, Thursdays and Saturdays and our Downtown location on Fridays.
